Greenhouse effect has been in existence from long time which has finally resulted in global warming.

The energy radiated form sun is the main cause for survival of life on Earth; however at the most 30% of the sunlight which is directed towards Earth is deflected back into the outer space by the outer atmosphere and the rest 70% reaches the surface of earth. The energy absorbed by earth surface later on reflected back in the upward direction to the atmosphere which is termed as infrared radiation. The heat emitted from this radiation is absorbed by the elements of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane and water vapor which reduce the rate at which this heat escapes from atmosphere.

Greenhouse effect is defined as the effect these greenhouse gases have on the natural climatic conditions of the earth due to the heat which it has captured from the infrared radiation. The main point of this greenhouse effect is the greenhouse gases wrap a layer of this heat that they have absorbed around the planet there by preventing even further escape of the heat and warming up the atmosphere within this layer which ultimately leads to change in the climatic conditions and global warming.

There are two types of greenhouse effect which is naturally caused in the above said manner and man made greenhouse effect where the humans contribute to the already prevailing greenhouse effect by burning natural resources and fossil fuels like petrol, coal etc. The man made greenhouse effect increases the percentage of carbon dioxide which covers the remaining percentage of reason for greenhouse effect. The major percentage is taken by water vapor which causes greenhouse effect which is about 90% of the entire effect.

The increase in temperature indicates the changes in the atmosphere and some scientists believe that at this rate it is pretty soon that the climate will observe drastic changes though there are also some other researchers who contradicts these statements.

This method of green building was mainly due to the concerns related to crisis which might occur in coming times due to the various pollution issues of the environment by the greenhouse gases. This green building mainly focuses on the efforts people intend to put on the construction practices and make them eco friendly without consuming more energy than that is originally required. Green building includes the process which will be followed to save resources throughout the various phases of building construction.

There are constant improvements being made in the technologies involving green building in contrast to all the practices prevailing presently so that any of the technology will reduce by large extent the built environment has on the natural environment and also sometimes the human health due to the pollution or wastage of resources. There are number of reasons for choosing green building which mainly includes environmental and social benefits along with even financial developments.

Green building often focuses on the techniques which will encourage an individual to use only renewable resources like solar cookers and rain gardens which will make better use of the rain water instead of going waste. The practices followed by people from various countries or areas for this green building will differ from one location to another based on the resources they have in plenty or which are lacking.

The main point of green building is to reduce the usage of energy, conserving water and also the quality of the resources has to remain intact or even improvised rather than depleting it even further. Some of the renewable resources can be bamboo (which grows quickly), straws or many other recycled products they also should be non toxic and should not damage to the environment.

Go green is all about doing things in safe way to protect the environment from all the future damages.

Many environmentalists have been making keen observations from decades about the effects our human actions have on the ozone layer and have laid emphasis on various methods to preserve it from the damages done to it by the various human activities even without their knowledge. Many campaigns and awareness programs have been brought about to tutor people in large number about the effects these carbon emissions have on the ozone layer. Along with this there are also various other issues which have been nagging them from long time which mainly includes depletion of natural resources.

The decrement of natural resources is proportionate to the increase in pollution and emission of carbon dioxide, which has put up a new problem for the increasing population there is every possibility that there will be scarcity of natural resources. It is high time that people have to give a thought to this which is the main reason to start up the Go Green campaign where it contains many techniques and methods which will help any individual save fuel and other resources for future generations.

The first thing which is concentrated upon by Go Green is that anything and everything can be recycled instead of dumping them into trash, these methods in Go Green will also help in saving money and also various other assets. Irregularity in usage of energy can be reduced which will save money for the person, like unplugging the appliances when they are not used, hand washing clothes instead of using machine which consumes at least 85% of the machine.

Many prominent people are being roped into the Go Green movement because they are considered as idols to some people and might inspire them to do similar things done by their favorites. Also they are a type of attractions, which will drag even more number of people into this go green movement.
